Andy Page [ Management Consultant ]
Andy worked for Toyota Motor Manufacturing in the UK for 14 years implementing & training Lean tools, methodologies, and principles. Andy led a team who were responsible for safety, quality, production, cost, and environment. Andy was then responsible for the implementation of a new process area for new model introduction, post implementation confirmation, and reporting live status to senior management. Andy was again responsible for leading, and driving key objectives / measures within the group. Andy was then selected as “master trainer” for weld shop, during further model introductions. Later a move onto member development projects saw Andy implement a new preventative maintenance system in the UK plant, also overseeing implementation in the Turkey plant.
Andy then worked as a management consultant for an Australian company. Implementing management techniques, business improvement methodologies, and the up skilling of the work force through registered training programs.
Andy is qualified to undertake lean diagnostics, benchmarking and improvement projects across a variety of organisations. Andy is driven, focussed on delivering, and excels in team member engagement which is vital in sustaining lean success.
Nik Payne [ Management Consultant ]
Nik has tertiary qualifications in engineering and management and served for over 23 years in the Royal Air Force. He mainly worked across different platforms and functions as an Avionic maintenance engineer. His final 4 years of Service was spent applying Lean principles to the maintenance and support activities associated with the Harrier aircraft.
In 2008 Nik migrated to Australia and worked to improve company profitability through application of Lean principles and good Management practice with his first Australian employer. This enabled Nik to absorb the differences between working in a military to non-military environment and also enjoying the experience of the culturally diverse workforce.
Nik then made a move to being a Management Consultant and Vocational Education Trainer servicing diverse organisations from the multi-national billion dollar to local small to medium enterprises. All training was based around Lean systems and culture change which proved successful across all business functions from manufacturing to service delivery.
Since being at TPS Nik has continued to deliver Lean training and drive change and improvement.
