HLTAID009 (Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)

Qualification Description:

This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines.

 

This unit applies to all persons who may be required to provide CPR, in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.

Statement of Attainment 

On successful completion of this course, you will be issued with the following statement of attainment:  HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation

 

TPSC recommends, as per the First Aid in the Workplace Code of Practice and the Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines, that resuscitation skills are renewed every 12 months.
